Red Tower 

The Red Tower stands as Alanya's iconic symbol, boasting an octagonal structure. Commissioned by the Seljuk sultan Alaeddin Keykubad I in 1221, its purpose was to safeguard the port and shipyard against potential attacks. The tower's five floors served various functions, from storage to housing garrisons and commanders' offices. Today, it serves as an ethnography museum exhibiting artifacts from the Seljuk and Ottoman periods. Visitors can ascend to its top for breathtaking views of the harbor and city.

Alanya Castle 

Alanya Castle, currently on UNESCO's World Heritage Temporary List, draws attention for its architectural prowess, shipyard, and connection to the Red Tower. Originally constructed in the 13th century by the Seljuk Sultan as a military stronghold and royal residence, the castle is the largest and best-preserved in the region. Boasting over 140 towers and 80 gates, ongoing excavations since 1982 have revealed a 60-meter secret passage.
